It was a long, frustrating day yesterday.
Not having slept well theses past few nights due to thunderstorms and stress, yesterday just seemed to take forever to be over. Add to that trying to track down Meg's immunization records and getting her a dorm room for the fall just made it that much more frustrating.
But after both of us being on our phones and talking to different people, we came up with a plan of attack for today, which made us both feel better.
Sometimes I wish there was a book that came with each new baby titled, "What To Expect And What To Do At Each Stage Of Life." Wouldn't that be nice and handy to have?
My afternoon run certainly helped, I guess I needed that big sweat more than I realized. Crossing the bridge at the entrance to our neighborhood on my return, I glanced down at the sun dappled creek and thought that Life really isn't as complicated as the day made it seem.
Always the eternal optimist.
